Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon

An excellent opportunity to be part of the small animal team at our progressive independent 15 vet Veterinary Hospital in Banbury.

Our practice has been recently extended and refurbished. We have separate Feline/Canine
hospital wards, three prep / minor op rooms, two clean operating theatres, dental suite, separate waiting rooms and six consulting rooms. Our large light, and airy practice is fully equipped with digital  CR and DR xray and dental DR x-ray, ultrasonography, endoscopy, laparoscopy, extensive in-house laboratory and canine rehabilitation centre. Clinical freedom and further qualifications encouraged.

Trainee Veterinary Nurse / Veterinary Care Assistant

Required at our busy Veterinary Hospital located in Banbury OX16 9SA

The successful candidate will have a good work ethic, be reliable, hard-working and punctual with the ability to follow instructions, work as part of a team and also unsupervised, have excellent customer service skills, common sense and a love of animals

Duties to include feeding, cleaning pens, dealing with clients, taking instruction from Vets and other nurses, must be computer literate and high standards of cleanliness are essential. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of animal welfare at all times, whilst providing a safe, healthy and enriched experience to all animals in our care.

The rota will be mixed shifts and will include on call and some weekends

Extra hours may be available when required so must be flexible and have own transport.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum level 2 qualification in Animal care or relevant experience but not essential and full training will be provided.

Hourly rate dependant on experience.

Administrative Assistant to the Practice Manager & Nurse Manager

Required to join the team at our busy Veterinary Hospital located in Banbury OX16 9SA.

The successful candidate will be organised, reliable, punctual, with a good work ethic and time management skills. This role requires excellent customer service skills, common sense and discretion. The applicant needs to be computer literate and posses the ability to follow instructions, as well as work unsupervised.

This position is to provide support to the Practice Manager and Nurse Manager, in the form of all general office administrative tasks as required, to include:

  • Filing / Scanning / shredding (including invoices & confidential documents)
  • Email Administration
  • Telephone duties
  • Printing
  • Data inputting
  • Arranging appointments
  • Some reception duties when required

Hours to be discussed at interview and part-time considered.
